On 13 December 2007, experimentation on Japan's JT-60 Upgrade fusion device at Naka Fusion Institute was remotely controlled from Max Planck Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP) in Garching. The two institutes are each operating the largest fusion research device in their respective countries. These joint experiments are to prepare for the remotely controlled work on the international 澳门六合彩高手 fusion test reactor, construction of which will soon begin at Cadarache, France.
